Built for Versatility: Multi-Format PET Extrusion
Product Introduction
Our multi-format PET extrusion production line is engineered as a versatile platform capable of adapting to rapidly changing market demands. This flexible system enables efficient switching between various PET product specifications—including widths from 5mm to 30mm, thicknesses from 0.3mm to 2.0mm, and cross-sectional shapes such as flat strap, monofilament, and rectangular bar—through quick-change modular components and adjustable process parameters. This versatility supports agile, small-batch, multi-variety production while minimizing equipment investment.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: What adjustments are needed when switching from narrow strap to wide sheet besides the die? Is it complex?
Main adjustments include: 1) Changing the die and flat die lip for the corresponding width. 2) Adjusting cooling roll spacing and contact angle for uniform cooling of the wide sheet. 3) Resetting tension parameters for haul-off and winding, as total tension is higher for wide sheets. 4) Possibly adjusting the stretching process. This procedure is covered in our training and SOPs, and our control system supports saving a separate "wide sheet" recipe, making the switchover process streamlined and repeatable, not complex.
Q2: With one line doing so many specifications, will it be a jack of all trades, master of none?
No. "Versatile" does not mean "compromised." The line's core precision platform (temperature control, speed control, tension control) maintains high standards. When switched to a specific product, we use dedicated dies and process recipes optimized for that product to achieve its best performance. Like a high-performance camera with different lenses for various subjects, our line platform ensures excellent foundational performance, while dedicated dies and recipes ensure each product specification is mastered.
